Parental

Supporter

Diane Webb is the Clare School Parental Supporter. She has completed the Norfolk Parent Partnership course and her role is to encourage parents/carers to be fully involved in their child’s education by working alongside them, explaining, and enabling.

 

She can help to:-

Prepare paperwork

Access relevant information

Explain procedures

Give emotional and practical support at meetings

Enable parents/carers to fully participate in their child’s education.

Make notes on behalf of parents/carers

Explain about assessment and statementing

The Clare School Parents’ Association (C.S.P.A.) has been running for a number of years and holds many social events such as discos, fun days, camps and trips out. Fundraising events such as quiz nights, fetes and raffles are also held with money raised going to supporting pupils and their families on trips/social events. New members are always welcome to join in the fun and help run events.

Ofsted Report

The ‘Care for Clare Appeal’ is a registered charity which was originally set up in 1996 to raise enough money to build a Physiotherapy Unit at the school. Having achieved this, Care for Clare continues to raise money for specialist equipment for the school and welcomes interested parties to join their efforts.
